Expanded polystyrene foam (EPF) or the Styrofoam is a plastic material that has special properties due to its structure. Design and Manufacturing Process

Like all plastics, EPF consists of a polymer chain with great molecular weight. Since beginnings of 90’s, new research has focused on ways to reduce CFC use, and on developing alternative blowing agents that will not harm the ozone layer.
